The Natural Environment and Climate Change Organization has announced the temporary closure of Samaria gorge (omalos gorge) due to high temperatures from both entrances (samaria top entrance Xyloskalo and Agia Roumeli bottom entrance). The civil protection aims to protect visitors from the expected heatewave.
